Terms of Service
Last updated: June 17, 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the Splitly application, owned by Torresburriel S.L.U. (“we”). By using Splitly you accept these Terms in full.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to consent to the processing of your personal data, to use Splitly.
2. Account
You are responsible for safeguarding the credentials used to access your account and for any activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Splitly in violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.
- Upload or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, harmful or otherwise objectionable.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, other accounts or related systems and networks.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
4. User content
You retain all rights to the content you create in Splitly (groups, outings, notes, etc.). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store and process that content solely to provide the service to you and the members of your groups.
5. Third-party services
Splitly relies on third-party services (such as identity providers and map providers). The availability of these services is beyond our control, and their use is subject to their own terms.
6. Service availability
We strive to keep Splitly available and reliable but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time, giving reasonable notice where possible.
7. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Splitly is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Torresburriel S.L.U. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of or in connection with your use of Splitly. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including consumer rights).
9. Termination
You may stop using Splitly and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a manner that may cause harm to us or to other users.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable means. Continued use of Splitly after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute arising from or related to them shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Zaragoza, Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.
